yes, so we re finally here, the 100th release of gamm enterprises ! since the very first release with red astaire s now classic follow me gamm have remixed, reworked and edited almost every style under the black music banner. gamm have and will always aim to deliver dj friendly black dance music regardless of style. gamm simply bring out that little extra in your favourite tunes. so for our 100th anniversary release we thought we really needed to bring out the big guns. what could be better than an ep where the mighty the reflex and up and coming remix star moplen came together and re-work the greatest artist of al time, michael jackson! sounds pretty good right? the reflex, moplen and mj...what a trio! well, there s not much more to say really except that if you like disco, boogie and mj this is the biggest musical home run of all time. lets boogie...gamm style!

the second release on fina white is a four tracker from rising barcelona producer and former rbma attendee clip! diverse releases on discomaths, classicworks, sweat taste and jd records, coupled with his signature hardware only live shows have really put clip! on the map locally and throughout europe. key to his sound is a shifting style and impressive knowledge of sound design, displayed on this brotherhood ep though four pure and unadulterated peak time cuts. there s a real menace to the bassline, low end throb and razor hats of the title track, whilst r36 showcases the fusion of sounds clip! can attain in his productions. on the flip side, forward is, surprise, a no messing, relentlessly percussive banger whilst dissonance s technique heads down an equally straight-up, rough n ready path.

butoh opens the ep in steely, nervy fashion with skittish synths scurrying over rooted house drums. theres a shiny progressive like vibe to the synths that really suck you in and give off the air of flying through the cosmos whilst a heavenly vocal cry only adds fuel to the fire.

we welcome to the label two extremely talented sound sculptors from mexico, kaban & di rugerio. both boast a string of innovative sounds released on some top notch labels, but here they have teamed up to bring us something really special. *overflow* is a swirling nemesis of a track, with crashing drums and tribal percussion flowing around huge electrical pulses that inject pure energy into the dancefloor.
boom merchant follows up last years hugely successful *stars/green symphony* with another perfect balance of rhythmic and melodic elements. *surge* is a track that always generates a huge reaction, built around a tight groove with plenty of action in the low end. it is literally smeared with electrical charge and doused in layers of harmonic goodness.

to release a new piece of music, it would seem, is to enter a competition for approval and appearances: who will play that track and how many will follow. likes. clicks. transient signs of appreciation, or perhaps just vague nods of confirmation. but what about all those values inherent in music that just cant be quantified? if merely one single person would listen to these songs and find herself or himself genuinely moved by them, wouldnt it be worth it? we think so. we really do.

after the success of the first release rooted series is back with new 4 track v/a from really well known and talented artists. deep/minimal/organic/house sounds for different times in every set.

title track joyride kicks things off with a straight up 909 beat, complete with scifi sweeps and classic wood block percussion, quickly working its way into an very subtle groove with every element working effectively to keep it fully funk laden. sideways completes the a side of the release and gets going right from the beginning. pumping percussion takes hold and hits the ground running before a perfectly weighted synth hook lashes over the top with henning playing with the synths lfo to creative effect. dust takes things down a notch as swirling pads drape themselves over a serious 909 beat. henning lets this one loop out, letting the subtle variations in the synths do the work as the 909 holds the beat solid and reminiscent of early berlin/detroit dub techno crossovers. mars attacks closes of the ep and does so in particularly fine fashion. a more broken beat affair this time from henning and he really works his machines into a sonic warfare of bass tones and tweaked out synths that sear through the crashing percussion workout.

klamauk are all set to reveal their second release of 2015 with this excellent offering from their very own tilman. this 5 track ep takes in a broad ranging musical spectrum from the warm, emotive house of voyager to the eerie acidic groove of outer space. the ep really shows off the prowess of tilmans productions who has been going from strength to strength of late and is a great addition to the klamauk catalogue.

acid, no wave and experimental house producer drvg cvltvre has been busy recently. after releasing with chris moss acid on shipwrec in 2014, vincent koreman then served up a full ep of his own, on dutch label cos_mos and is now back once again with a new four track affair on pinkman that comes two years after he offered up the label�s first ep in 2013. up first, * my houz* is a swampy house track with heavy drums, whirring machines and white noise textures all adding up to an intense affair that sounds like little else. then comes * tyranny of the gods* , a slow tempo but high impact track that builds and builds on a nerve lead synth line as frazzled bass props things up from below. dark and weird, occult and rave, its another unique proposition. on the flip, * sleepdealer* is an unbalanced house track with taught, tight bass and is shot through with laser like synths. serene and spaced out, it makes way for closer * crack spirit guide* which is a noisy, intense and brooding fusion of crisp percussion, big walls of synth and chattering drums that really have you on edge. once agin, then, drvg cvltvre has come up with the idiosyncratic goods.

phase insane is proud to present el carton, the first collaboration between the madrilenians gale talk andunkle fon. this massive work will not leave anybody indifferent, as it is really unusual having music as original as the one they bring us. gale talk and unkle fon bring us two huge dark techno tracks produced over really deep melodic and groovy elements. these songs generate a massive effect in the dance floor as they are based in very hypnotic sounds which make listeners get into the groove from the very first moment. if this looks great, it becomes better when you listen the fantastic remix of el carton produced by the brooklyn based duo loud neighbor.

the original he serves up here is my groove, a firmly rooted and solid bit of house music with classically inclined vocal chants by gjeazon from crazy like a fox records, that recall eddie amador s biggest cut. subtle details embellish the groove and make it all the more standout, and those deep looping basslines really pull you into the middle of the track, which also has airy hi hats and a sleazy sense of funk. the first remix comes from afterparty founder, rinse fm radio host, former usher tour dj, southern fried affiliate and pioneer collaborator doorly, who also runs his own pigeon hole label. his remix smooths out the kinks and simmers a grainy groove for seven shuffling, seductive minutes. rolling effects and a big breakdown are sure to make for some fist pumping moments in the club. last to remix is play it down producer and foremost danish dj christian nielsen. he does so with an increased sense of urgency and his track hits that bit harder as a result, all thanks to a dirty down low bassline that just rolls and rolls.

now living in warsaw, donnell knox was well known, along with black nation s jay denham for forging a tough, distinct kalamazoo techno sound in the 90s. his label, sonic mind, put out some very coveted, underground wax that still sounds unique, extra rugged, and fresh. well d-knox is now on a bit of a comeback mission it seems, with some really inspiring new material, and �africa calling�. the first version, created to donnell�s much loved �spirit man� alias, is a soulful trek through layers of pads and emotive synth work. the simple, but uplifting, vocal snippet really gives it an organic and spiritual feel, the tempo is driving and quick, but the overall vibe is laid back and deep. remixes come from the likes of brooklyn based titonton duvante, who maximizes a synth pattern to a form a beautiful, reaching, version, while canada�a rennie foster channels his futago traxx style to present a full on tribal, drum based mix with added vocal pieces. also, detroit transplant, now living in canada as well, j garrett goes in with a very emotional, warm, string laden take. the ep is capped off with another version from donnell that could stand as it�s own track really, a totally different, but equally as strong, version featuring a driving baseline and detroit style string vamps. a really nice release, worthy of your support, from a well loved veteran of the techno underground.

the last time these gentlemen linked up was for their release what you see on leftroom limited in december of 2013. since then, circle (rob paine + keith landis) produced another ep for worship while rise 8 has been recording their full length album. the universe let these artistic minds & souls meet in the studio once again to create gone too deep. the original mix is a deep and moody house builder that is really brought to life through the haunting vocals of rise 8 s gerhardt koerner.

here at nang towers we are really happy to have back slovenian talent sare havlicek, without any doubt one of our favourite producers, and to present you all his latest creation *movies for lovers*. sometimes we like to try something a bit different. often the process of creating an album can be a not-so-simple task: which tracks are the singles? which is the breather track? do we have ten songs? have we covered all the bases? the list goes on. sometimes the answer is to throw convention out the window and just try to harness a burst of energy and get it down on eighteen minutes-a-side of vinyl. we gave sare the following brief: lock yourself in a studio for four weeks and come up with a piece of cohesive work. abandon the formulas, do some experimenting and (most importantly) try some things you wouldnt normally do. *movies for lovers* is the result of that session and encapsulates the feeling of the journey sare embarked on to bring you this album.

after 25 years of production leo anibaldi has decided to involve some of his favorite artist on a remixes project to give some modern touch of his old works. the remixes will be published in four different vinyls. leo anibaldi & sebastian mullaert aka minilogue has shared the first one, evocation ep is a track come from void album released on rephlex (aphex twin label), in the early 90s. sebastian mullaert has given his beatiful vision and touch on four different tracks really introspective and meditative on a single project.

for the first time in too long, influential visionquest founder, dj and producer shaun reeves is back with a new ep. this one - the label�s 50th, no less - comes in collaboration with acclaimed italian house producer tuccillo, features two essential new tracks and comes with a fantastic remix by dorian paic. shaun has released on the likes of crosstown, wolf + lamb and catwash and has worked with art department and dj w!ld, but here it is well informed house man and 2020 vision and holic trax associate tuccillo that is his musical paring partner. together the pair really hit it off with some truly infectious club tracks.

its release time for house is ok! frankfurt based label waited a bit longer than usual for its co-owner marko pelaic aka homeboy to come up with new sounds so it doesnt really surprise theyve decided to let him take over this, one man reign ep, first of that sort for this etiquette. kaprije is not only news for the label but homeboy himself in a way he defined it as writing a new chapter, stepping away from traditional house music, exploring more of the experimental and modern sounds a direction hes interested in continuing.

for pressure traxx011, we are really pleased to welcome one of our favourite artists to the label. barac first caught our attention as a member of the romanian supergroup noi doi, but he decided to go solo to perfect his vision of the finest electronic music. having already released on some of the coolest record labels and with an ever presence in the record bags of your favourite dj s. it is with much anticipation that we present barac and his first ep on pressure traxx. his verniana ep is due to be released in april 2015 in a record shop near you!

i am very happy and excited to present the new ep by claudia anderson on singular rec., its her second release on the label and its a real pleasure. she cooked a really varied record once again, liquid forms takes place on a1 and its real voodoo here, the effect of this track is very unique, it�s space and deep, surrounded by many little effects that give such a special result, then comes neutral state, a timeless dub & house feeling, very loopy, that reminded me some stl cuts. be one opens the b� i ve been really sensible to its very sexy percussions play and delayed lead, it transports literally during all the length, its very high quality. to end properly this ep, claudia did a superb ambient cut, everybody knows i love ambient and so here i ve been charmed� its a deep, noisy atmospheric track that close the all perfectly, with simple little percussions that come and go, just what it takes� its a confirmation of all the good i thought about claudias talent, a very subtle, deep and charming record, and i hope you will like it as much as i do! marcelus.

almost a year after their best-selling second ep, the anonymous bandits crumbs return to the fray, with another perfectly planned and executed smash & grab although delivering a mysterious & scantily clad 12- is hardly a novel concept these days, it does concentrate the mind (and feet) on the music more than the brand it s undercover time again, and we re sworn to secrecy, of course...but two of the regular collaborators have engaged in a serious bit of one upmanship having landed this diverse haul, let s take a look inside as we move from a completely overhauled musicbox classic, flipped and re-pitched for 21st century floors. followed up by a totally irresistible modern afro-disco workout with more than a few sonic surprises thrown in turn over for a lost, cosmic gem with no end of additional sparkle, coupled with a a twice-baked & loose jointed rhythm and bass workout that really slams. a dj s delight, then, to be mixed up or played raw this one will be gone in the blink of an eye, but treasured for much longer

silkscreen artwork - hand-stamped - limited to 300 copies. after chris mitchell, xdb and walt j, parisian label unlearn is back with a various artists from european fellow producers. a versatile cut between mental lands, dubby shapes and g-funk territories that confirms the label�s strive for eclecticism in electronic music the release starts off with juckis (100693 mix) (a1) by copenhagen underground posse (c.u.p) affiliated artist kasper marott, a strong and sensual track between dub and house. the ingredients are simple but effective: deep chords, groovy bassline and driving snares. jackin in paris (a2) is something else. this analog number by hyperdubs jkamata mixes the artists uber-funky roots and his taste for polished house rhythms. be sure to check his supertronic duo project as well, these danish cats definitely know how to do it.the flipside explores a more mental side of dance music starting with the refined north (b1), the kind of track you cant really put in a box. labels co-owner caseer aka raphaël cesario takes you on a trip through his elegant universe made of harmonic pads and syncopated rhythms. misi from basel ends this v/a with helios (b2), a maurizio-esque cut that will please the amateurs of proper dub.

the maghreban is new to house music, and doesnt really listen to house music, which isnt necessarily a bad thing. he has worked extensively in other genres under other names. looking at house from these sideways perspectives perhaps gives him an interesting angle on it. this second release sees the maghreban expand his sonic palette somewhat, taking in some african sounds but also continuing along the vintage theme of his first 12 inch. radio play from benji b (bbcr1), thristian (nts), support from ben ufo (rinse/hessle), brian not brian (going good/kristina records), gatto fritto (international feel), sasa (in flagranti, nts), leri ahel (mutant disco).

midgar is proud to introduce a newcomer for the third release. a great debut for the maltese cloned, delivering not less than 4 cuts with sapphire 1990 e.p. the record, way more straightforward and groove centered than the previous midgar outputs, opens with sapphire 1990, track that sounds like very nostalgic memories from a timeless rave. thanks to a genuine simplicity and the great arrangement of its elements, this first cut has the perfect characteristics to become a dancefloor anthem. on the same side, a live out-take from cloned�s repertory, the pendulum swinging synth-lines which dominate pretty direct rhythmics filled with hi-hats and claps over a costant background noise. belgassem as the first cut on the b side, is an absolutely heavy one for the label�s standards, made of deep kickin� drums and haunting voices empowered by a really strong and obsessive acid-line. closing the vinyl, the slow (and again really acidic) submerging is like a lysergic vessel headed to more comfortable dimensions, where groovy drums are embraced by very bright heavenly pads. sudden death is instead a chilled-out broken beat interrupted by confused speeches and detroitish pads, resulting as a modern ritual of ascension towards higher spheres. corel drives the release to the end, recalling most of its main features: a restless run through misty soundscapes along a path studded of bells and overwhelming, sharp hi-hats.

despite refusing to stick to a single genre, deft is one of those immediately recognisable producers, which is nice because it means we dont have to waste any time comparing him to anyone else. 2013 saw the croydon man skilfully hopping from headphone to dance styles, often within a track, his signature blend of cinematic soundscapes and crisp, intricate percussion covering hip-hop, house, and ambient. whats more, his noteworthy contributions to the burgeoning uk footwork scene means the young producer can now count mark pritchard, dj shadow and rockwell among his biggest fans, and boy does this boy have fans, check this bandcamp review of his project mooncircle ep voight kampff: anything this magician puts out has a pretty good chance of getting you pregnant right in the good old music hole. says it all really

ukranian techno producer yan cook returns to the planet rhythm imprint with a belter ep. evolving techno sounds that are carefully carved out of analogue pulses and ferm drum hits. where the a side thrives on well produced arps and atmopshere, the b side really hits it with peak time synth action and great fx.

victor calderone has stepped up for his first solo release on drumcode with his two track single, burden. featuring two energetic tracks, *skin* and *burden*, victor has used effected vocals to create funky rhythms over the top of some steaming kick drums. the synth stabs lend themselves well across this ep particularly in *burden* where they really augment the flow of the track. the use of percussion phrases throughout both tracks on the single also reinforces the grooves and adds character to create a distinctive sound that keeps the single fresh and exciting.

nebraska is someone who�s tracks we�ve been loving for a good few years now and finally managed to pin him down for a release here on delusions of grandeur. the uk producer is something of an enigma, and despite some amazing releases on rush hour still remains resolutely underground and seems to keep his releases to a minimum, focusing on keeping the quality high rather than flooding the market with average material. once again, he brings the real deal with three drum-heavy warehouse jams to nice-up the dancefloor. aw-right (mute version) sets the tone with a raw house groove that keeps things stripped to the bare minimum. a bouncing bassline and rattling percussion break help to define the track but it�s the dusty, dubby approach to the mix which really makes the track shine. next up we have warp and weft, a similar sounding track but by dropping the bpm�s nebraska has created a sublime low-slung, bumpy groove to really move to. flipping over we�re treated to the brilliant eighty eights which will have you nodding your head like the churchill�s dog before you can say �looped up piano and bass one bar groove repeated for over eight and a half minutes shouldn�t work should it?�

this one is really raw dirty monotonous early techno beats with some claustrophobic noises, lots of old acid sounds from old analog gear, 303s filtered by hand, headcutting hi hats and an overall dark atmosphere. flashback to the early days of mr.finger, adonis etc

taking a few steps off it�s usual housy path, metereze presents a fresh new face and a more techno approach to dance music. it is melodie that signs the 4th installment and he is taking it deep into the realms of acid with 3 tracks that not only go well together but they are all meant to make you move in a big way.
acid sunday is as acidic as the name suggests it but in the end it�s the most poetic of the 3. the subtle pads are kinda dreamy but the 303 sounds make it super driving. on the same side we have rhythmico which is dark, percussive and powerful. subtle background bleeps complete the wandering synth that comes and goes but never really seems to go away.
housed on side b justa is a techno monster in its own right. sonically very close to the other two, this is by far the darkest track on this ep. and probably the strongest. techno infused house you may call it or whatever, this is the kind of track that puts you on a serious move whenever, wherever.

capsule labs music groups debut release is a 4 track house ep from label boss gil t (om, drop music, deeper shades). taking off with the lush sounds of flight 107, a smooth synth journey, nicely descends to get down low�. the afro cuban house beat sets a nice groove for the live jazzy vibraphone stabs of this classy track. the b side is a real bonus. the private driver really cruises and lastly, not so low is a chunky finisher remix of the title track, all done in house. locally farmed variety of true analog precision by gil tamazyan. each release has its own plastic drop card with a string being held in place with a limited pressing metal foil sticker individually numbered 1-500 on the back side of the jacket. heavyweight virgin vinyl.

behind the next release on meant records are italian duo boot & tax, a relatively new pairing made up of claudio brioschi and cristiancroce. here they serve up three great originals baced with a stellar remix from alien alien. before now, boot & tax have released two extremely well received eps on jd twitchs optimo trax and have also recently had their music licensed to erol alkans fabric live 77, so the pair are really on the up.

with jozef k & winter sons may the lord have mercy on us all, lets play house dives deeper into the world of techno. the record includes two dubby originals--like falling angels� in addition to the titular track-as well as a pair of remixes from some of n. america�s finest: luke hess of detroit and basic soul unit of toronto. that is really all you need to know! the 30-minute-long journey is all at once calming and energizing, hypnotizing and exhilarating, accessible and heady. it is also spooky and chilling, thanks to the slow boil build of each cut on its own and the 12 inch as a whole. a truly rewarding listening experience suitable for at-home and club play alike by two of manchesters top-shelf talents.
